“My name is Ben Brown and I work in the warehouse at Avery Brewing Co. Probably like a lot of people in brewing, I have a passion for good beer. I actually used to be a design engineer back in New Hampshire designing kids' furniture for about three years. Then I really got into home brewing and just decided that was the industry I wanted to pursue and I wanted to pursue it in Colorado. There's a lot of people that are like-minded here and I think that's why we all get along so well. It's a good little family. You won't find a group of better people. I realized this is the industry I want to stay in. Once it gets a hold of you, you don't really want to let go of it. It's kind of like a soft spot. And sometimes it doesn't feel like work. I mean, we work really hard. We work our asses off each day, but at the end of the day, everybody else is doing the same thing and we're all in it together. It’s something to be proud of.”
